Year 1 trip to Hancock Museum

Time-travelling pupils from Year 1 took to a trip back to prehistoric times with a recent visit to the Hancock Museum.
Orange Class spent a history-filled day at the Great North Museum in Newcastle as part of their topic on Dinosaurs.
The youngsters turned Paleontologists for the day as they discovered how to dig for fossils, learnt what the world was like in prehistoric times and looked at ancient examples of fossilised creatures - including dinosaur poo!
The school would like to extend a huge thank you to all parent helpers who came along on the trip and provided invaluable assistance.
