Sing Up Platinum Award

Seaton Sluice First School has become only the second school in the whole county to receive the Sing Up Platinum Award.
As a 'singing school', to be presented with this prestigious award is a great honour.
Deputy head Mrs Bennett has worked extremely hard to ensure SSFS met the required standards needed for the award.
Singing has become synonymous with SSFS; it is part of who the school is and what the school does on a daily basis.
Head teacher Mrs Love said: "The work required to qualify for this award has been very demanding, challenging and has taken up a lot of time and effort.
"It means so much to us as a school to have been given the award because singing has become so much a part of who and what we are.
"Mrs Bennett is a very gifted musician and has wonderful ideas for taking the school forward musically. I wish her and all the staff and children lots of luck with this."
