School staffing

19th June 2017
Seaton Sluice First School is excited to be welcoming the return of Mrs Mays following her maternity leave.
The Reception class teacher will be back in school on Monday, July 3. This means that Miss Bommel, who has been covering Mrs Mays, will have her final day in school on Friday, June 30.
We will be extremely sad to see Miss Bommel go but she has been successful in securing herself a full-time permanent teaching position at a Gosforth school.
There is more change ahead as we will also be welcoming a new member of staff to the school in September.
Before Half Term, we interviewed for the post of Deputy Head and Year 4 class teacher.
We are delighted that Katie Walsh has been appointed to this role and will start on September 1.
Mrs Walsh will also take on the role of SENDco (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities co-ordinator) following Mrs Love's departure.
