Meet our Tanzanian link school

4th December 2017
Seaton Sluice First School has received the first pictures of the Tanzanian school it will be linked with this year.
The photographs show the pupils of the school with their teachers outside their new building.
The exciting cross-continental connection will see SSFS pupils learn about their counterparts in the Tanzanian village of Miwaleni, including their culture and way of life.
It is hoped that through learning about these children and their school, SSFS pupils will help to raise money in order to provide much-needed resources for the African school.
And the first of these fundraising ventures is taking place on Wednesday with the bring-and-buy sale.
Proceeds of that event will go towards funding a display board for the Miwaleni school's classroom.
Future events will include a Tanzania Day in the new year.
We hope that as many parents and children as possible support our endeavours to help our friends in Miwaleni.
