Future broadcasters-in-the-making became stars of the small screen last week with a trip to the BBC.
SSFS Digital Leaders Finley, Lana, Tom, Theo and Thomas tried their hand at reading the news as part of a tour on television production at the BBC studios in Newcastle.
The group visited the Look North set where they found their feet both behind and in front of the camera and even met BBC Radio Newcastle presenter Simon Logan.
The trip was invaluable to the group, who are producing an e-safety video as part of their role as 'digital leaders'.
Mrs Dixon and Mrs Bennett accompanied the children, who were praised for their insightful questions and impeccable behaviour.
