Headteacher Message

Seaton Sluice First School is a very happy, caring and successful school. I have been been in post since April 2007 and have led the school through three very successful OFSTED inspections. All members of our school community work very hard and are committed to following the ethos of our school which is summed up perfectly  by our school mission statement.

The following was created by children, parents, governors and staff:-

Believe and Achieve

Care and Share

Safe and Secure

Enjoy Together

We welcome visitors to our school especially those who are looking for a place for their children. We also have many children attending our school who do not live in Seaton Sluice but for various reasons choose to come here from New Hartley, Blyth, Seghill, Holywell and even further afield.

The school is very much part of the community within the village of Seaton Sluice where we have established and continue to foster links with St Pauls Church, the Methodist Church, the local library, childminders, the local elderly people's home, County Councillors, the Parish Council and the village's music committee.

At our school we have an open door policy for parents and carers. If we cannot help immediately we will always do our best to answer or respond to any information required about the school.

Everybody in and around Seaton Sluice is very proud of our school, our children,  and the service we provide within the community. Please feel free to contact the school should you require any more information about us.
