Our wonderful choir were involved in a very exciting event at the Whitley Bay Playhouse this week to support local charity the Sunshine Fund. Our very talented singers joined together with the voices of Seghill First School, Seaton Delaval First School, Holywell Village First School, Whytrig Middle School, Seaton Sluice Middle School and Astley High School. In total a whopping 180 kids took to the stage!
Mrs Bennett organised the event in which the six schools joined together to perform an array of sunshine themed songs – including an original composition by Mrs Bennett called Spread the Sunshine.
Everyone involved was incredibly proud of all the youngsters who took part. They worked so hard to make the event a wonderful success – truly spreading sunshine to everyone who came along to watch the event and support The Sunshine Fund.
