Teamwork was key in Year 1 last week when the class was set an exciting challenge.
The children had to find a way of crossing the 'river' using different equipment such as milk crates, wooden blocks and PE markers.
But they couldn't complete the task alone. Teamwork was the only way they could safely reach the other side.
The challenge was part of SSFS's 'Love to Learn' week - a week in which the school celebrated learning and pupils took part in fun but educational tasks.
Orange Class had to plan how their team would cross the river and had to ensure no one fell in.
Miss Chivers said: "It was brilliant to see how the children worked out the most effective way to cross the river and their team spirit was amazing! Well done to everyone!"
