Water Aid appeal raises nearly £100

Almost a hundred pounds has been raised by children at Seaton Sluice First School to pay for water pumps in an African community.
Youngsters in  Years 1 and 2 have been learning about water aid for those countries where clean water is scarce and communities are frequently threatened with drought.
In support of this, pupils and their families have donated cash to help pay for water pumps in Tanzania.
A total of £90.15 has been raised, which will pay for two water pumps.
SSFS is so proud of the children learning to care for those less fortunate than themselves and thank the families who have supported this worthy cause.
