The prestigious opening ceremony of the much-anticipated Tall Ships Regatta featured non other than Seaton Sluice First School pupils.
Children from Years 3 and 4 performed the school song 'Ode to William Smith' at the event - which was attended by The Countess of Wessex.
The youngsters' performance was hailed a huge success at the event on Wednesday 20 April and they even featured on the local BBC news that evening.
A huge thanks goes to those parents/carers who helped on the day and came along to support the children at the event.
The Tall Ships Regatta takes place at the Port of Blyth from Friday, 26 August to Monday 29 August.
