SSFS awarded Big Lottery Grant

Seaton Sluice First School has secured £9,000 in funding, some of which will be used to deliver a multi-school singing event.
The PTFA successfully applied for and secured the Big Lottery funding.
The cash, which must be used for a singing and arts-based project, will see SSFS take part in Singing Spreads Sunshine - a multi-school event at Whitley Bay Playhouse next June.
Choirs from schools across the Seaton Valley Learning Partnership will be involved in the exciting event.
The cash will also allow SSFS to purchase a choral riser for pupils to perform on, design and buy our own choir uniform, some pop-up banners for the school and extra music tuition during the school day and also after school.
